888 Brands lifetime warranty covered by this warranty are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This warranty applies to all 888 branded products except for the Robotic Delivery System. Also not included are motors, control systems, batteries, customer specified items, and other products not manufactured by 888 Brands. Examples of these are SEW motors and controllers, Omron Sensors, Key Switches, Oriental Motors, and Oasis Engineering products. If your product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified items and workmanship are covered. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear, and tear. Under the warranty coverage 888 Brands will charge for all related travel expenses for the repair but will not charge for the labor or parts that need repair or replacement.
The products eligible for the lifetime warranty are covered by the original owner, for the lifetime of the product. Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime. Your 888 Conveyor may not survive up to 30 years as it has a lifetime of its own. Also, all conveyor systems have wear items that are designed to be worn with time. These items include but are not limited to all the wear strips, chains, and guides on the conveyor. If any of these guides become worn or damaged during normal operation, they can be repaired or replaced at a charge to the customer.
To be covered under this warranty 888 Brands conveyor systems must be inspected on a yearly basis by an 888 Brands certified technician. This inspection will include but not limited to a visual inspection and dismantling of the conveyor chain of the conveyor system. Once the chain is removed the underside will be cleaned and a Silicon lubricant will be applied. If something is broken or missing on the chain, it will be replaced and repaired. The conveyor profiles will be checked for damage. If a profile is found to have a manufacturing defect it will be repaired or replaced at no charge to the customer. If damage has occurred because of improper cleaning or other customer-related issues the repair of these issues will be the responsibility of the customer. The yearly inspection process requires the customer to purchase a certified 888 Brands Technician to travel to the location and do the inspection process on a yearly basis. If there is a lapse in the inspection service where it is not done on a yearly basis the lifetime warranty is voided.
